THE PROPER USE OF TECHNOLOGY

Today technology is a pretty big part of people’s life in certain region of the globe. I think that this is a good thing and I personally believe that we can do great things with technology but we have to be aware of some facts because if we don’t use it properly it can have a sad effect on the environment.

Here some good things we can do with technology:

• We can reduce pollution by using less motorized vehicles if we send e-mails instead of conventional mail.
• One day we will drive cars powered by batteries
• We can reduce the amount of paper used by reading e-books instead of material books

But…Do you know that one search on google can generate about 7 grams of carbon dioxide (due to server’s heating)? Can you imagine what billions of facebook users posting useless things can do?

We must do something. That’s why I’m asking everybody who read this to answer this post with information they know about technology’s effects (bad or good) and to suggest some solutions or warning (if they have).

Hopefully, together, we will make people more concern!
